Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drill Presser to set up and operate drill presses. Your expertise will help us maintain high-quality standards across our production line.

Responsibilities

• Modify and adjust drill press controls and mechanisms for various operations.
• Train new operators on drill press safety and operational protocols.
• Document maintenance and repair work performed on drill presses.
• Collaborate with production team to meet daily production targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade school certification or apprenticeship in machining or related field

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience operating and maintaining drill presses

Technical Skills

• Drill press operation
• Blueprint interpretation
• Mechanical aptitude

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Team collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with other machining tools: Familiarity with tools such as lathes or milling machines is a plus.
