Job Description

The Weapons Officer will be responsible for managing and operating all weapons systems onboard a naval vessel, ensuring their safety, effectiveness, and readiness for combat situations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the armament inventory and manage supply requisitions.
  • Coordinate with logistics for necessary equipment and munitions.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures for weapons operation.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades to existing systems.
  • Act as a liaison between the Weapons Department and senior command.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication for comprehensive mission planning.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Military Strategy or related field is preferred

  • 3+ years of leadership in naval or military environments
