Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing security incidents, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with IT departments to safeguard our network and data against security breaches.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security alerts and determine the appropriate response.
• Develop incident response plans and lead security incident investigations.
• Implement security monitoring solutions to automate threat detection.
• Review and update firewall and intrusion detection system configurations.
• Advise management on risk metrics and security-related developments.
• Conduct training sessions to reinforce best security practices.
• Stay informed about the current threat landscape and potential vulnerabilities.
• Review access controls and ensure least privilege access is enforced.
• Collaborate with other departments to advance the corporate security posture.
• Engage in continuous improvement processes for security operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of dedicated experience in cybersecurity roles

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
