Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Trial Attorney to represent our clients in court and provide legal advice and guidance. The successful candidate will be adept at analyzing legal documents, developing strategies, and advocating effectively on behalf of clients in various disputes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legal documents such as briefs and contracts.
• Advocate on behalf of clients during court hearings and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and plea bargains with opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure case success.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of federal and state laws.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior attorneys and interns.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs.
• Prepare for complex cases while ensuring thorough documentation.
• Develop litigation strategies that align with clients' best interests.
• Conduct mock trials and discovery sessions as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience, particularly in complex litigation.

Technical Skills

• Criminal Defense Experience

Certifications

• Membership in good standing with the State Bar of California
