Job Description

As a Wind Energy Operations Manager, you will oversee the performance and efficiency of wind farm operations. This role will require you to lead and manage a skilled team of technicians and engineers to ensure that all wind turbines are operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational strategies for the wind farm's day-to-day activities.
• Ensure the wind farm operates safely and meets regulatory compliance.
• Conduct performance analyses and implement improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize output.
• Manage relationships with contractors for maintenance and service.
• Oversee the documentation of operational performance metrics.
• Implement health and safety policies and practices.
• Participate in community outreach and engagement efforts.
• Monitor budget adherence and financial projections.
• Stay up to date with industry advancements and regulations.
• Provide training and support to staff in safety and operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a supervisory role within the renewable energy sector
