Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Carpenter to join our woodworking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and installing wooden structures, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate carpentry equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Gather and prepare materials needed for carpentry projects.
  • Work with various types of wood and understands their properties and uses.
  • Assist in project planning and design to improve building efficiency.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Identify and resolve issues as they arise during the construction process.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Assist in inventory management of supplies and materials.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training in carpentry is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of carpentry experience, with a focus on sustainable practices preferred
