Ladle Puller

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ladle Puller to join our dedicated team. The Ladle Puller will primarily be responsible for operating and maintaining ladle cranes, extracting and transporting molten metal, and ensuring smooth operations within the foundry environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control ladle cranes for optimal performance.
• Follow all safety regulations while handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain logs of all pouring and ladling activities.
• Perform necessary adjustments to equipment as required during operations.
• Ensure that all operations comply with quality and safety standards.
• Participate in team meetings to foster improvement recommendations.
• Engage in ongoing training and development to stay updated on industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years operating ladle cranes or in a foundry setting.

Technical Skills

• Molten Metal Handling
• Equipment Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Safety Awareness
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Forklift Certification (preferred)
• Safety Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Quality Control Processes: Understanding of quality assurance methods in foundry settings is beneficial.
• Welding or Fabrication Experience: Experience in welding or metal fabrication can be advantageous.
