Job Description

We are seeking a Health and Safety Engineer to join our Product Safety team. This position is crucial to ensuring our products meet all safety regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will conduct safety assessments, risk analysis, and collaborate with multiple departments to maintain compliance and product integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assess the safety of new products and recommend improvements.
• Participate in cross-departmental teams to integrate safety into product designs.
• Monitor compliance and performance of safety measures.
• Lead internal safety audits and inspections.
• Design and implement safety training programs for staff.
• Report on product safety incidents and track corrective actions.
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
• Analyze trends in safety data to inform future safety improvements.
• Act as a resource for product safety compliance issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance product design for safety.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product safety or related field
