Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Child, Family, and School Social Worker where you will be responsible for assessing and addressing the needs of children and families in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for advocacy and will work collaboratively with schools and families to ensure success for children.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address the social, emotional, and economic needs of children and families.
• Work with educational institutions to monitor student progress and well-being.
• Develop strategies for conflict resolution within families and school settings.
• Facilitate connections between families and support services in the community.
• Document progress towards specified goals to track efficacy of interventions.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and refer families to other services.
• Participate in community outreach to promote awareness of available resources.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience working with families or in educational settings

Technical Skills

• Behavioral Assessment

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified School Social Work Specialist (C-SSWS)
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Spanish: Conversational
