Forwarder

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Forwarder to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery to clients while maintaining excellent communication with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor shipments using transportation management systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes.
• Prepare documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers regarding shipment status.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any issues that arise.
• Maintain relationships with key partners to ensure the efficient operation of the supply chain.
• Assist in training junior team members in logistics operations.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in logistics and transportation

Technical Skills

• Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Shipping Regulations

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Logistics & Supply Chain Certification

Languages

• Spanish: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with hazardous materials shipping.: Familiarity with regulations surrounding hazardous materials transportation.
• Familiarity with air and ocean freight.: Understanding of both air and ocean freight processes.
