As an Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining contact lens manufacturing equipment. Your role is crucial in producing high-quality contact lenses while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining product quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate contact lens manufacturing equipment to produce precise lens shapes.
  • Inspect lenses for quality assurance and compliance.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Optical Technology is preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in optical or contact lens manufacturing.
