As a Dairy Hand on our progressive dairy farm, you will play a vital role in the daily care and management of our herd. Your responsibilities will encompass milking, feeding, and monitoring the health of our dairy cattle. We seek an individual who is dependable, hardworking, and possesses a passion for animal husbandry.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings to discuss farm operations
• Record and report any changes in animal behavior or health
• Assist with inventory management for feed and supplies
• Engage in continuous training and development activities

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certifications in Animal Husbandry or related fields prefered

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in dairy farming or livestock handling

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Dairy Practices
• Machinery Operation

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Nutritional Plans for Dairy Cattle: Experience in developing and implementing nutritional programs for dairy herds.
