White Sugar Supervisor

Job Description

As the White Sugar Supervisor, you will oversee the production and quality control of white sugar at our facility. Your expertise will ensure compliance with safety standards, maintain the production process, and enhance efficiency. This role is vital to delivering our quality products.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production activities on the white sugar line and ensure timely completion of targets.
• Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety standards.
• Analyze production metrics to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
• Engage with staff to foster an inclusive environment and promote team growth.
• Liaise with management to convey production updates and challenges.
• Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and facility equipment.
• Organize regular team meetings to discuss performance and areas for improvement.
• Directly oversee quality assurance practices through regular checks.
• Assist in developing strategic plans for production efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of documentation for standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in food science or engineering preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supervisory roles within the food processing industry

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery
• Understanding of safety and quality standards

Soft Skills

• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

Certifications

• Certification in food safety or relevant field is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
