Job Description

As the Underwriter Solicitation Director, you will lead the charge in securing top-notch underwriters for our insurance products. You'll collaborate closely with our sales and marketing teams to pinpoint potential candidates, ensuring a robust pipeline of quality underwriters. Your strategic vision will be crucial in negotiating contracts and building lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute targeted campaigns to recruit new underwriters.
  • Forge collaborative relationships with sales teams to identify solicitation opportunities.
  • Analyze financial data and performance indicators to select qualified underwriters.
  • Negotiate impactful agreements that enhance underwriting operations.
  • Cultivate connections with existing underwriters to foster loyalty and retention.
  • Review performance data to address any discrepancies and implement solutions.
  • Research industry trends to stay ahead in the underwriting field.
  • Support the underwriting team with training and best practices.
  • Compile analytics on solicitation efforts and present findings to leadership.
  • Partner with marketing to launch initiatives that resonate with potential underwriters.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Relevant master's degree preferred
Experience
  • At least 10 years in underwriting roles, with substantial experience managing teams.
