Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other electrophysiological disorders.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, including anti-arrhythmics and anticoagulants.
• Participating in research activities and staying updated with advancements in electrophysiology.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting all interventions.
• Providing support and guidance to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Utilizing EMR systems for managing patient data effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice

Experience

• Experience in an electrophysiology laboratory or cardiac catheterization lab preferred.

Technical Skills

• Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certification in Electrophysiology Nursing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of infection control protocols: Familiarity with infection control standards in a clinical setting.
• Experience with EMR systems: Experience using electronic medical records systems for patient management.
