Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Residue Furnace Operator to join our team. The operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring residue furnaces to ensure efficient and safe production processes. You will work closely with engineering teams to uphold safety standards and optimize operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of residue furnaces according to established procedures.
• Make real-time adjustments to maintain optimal operational conditions.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor furnace integrity and performance.
• Ensure all procedures comply with safety regulations.
• Record and analyze production data, adjusting operations as necessary.
• Proactively troubleshoot issues related to furnace operation.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency improvements.
• Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
• Support the training of junior operators on equipment handling.
• Implement strict adherence to safety and operational protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in furnace operation or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating residue furnaces or similar industrial furnaces.
