Job Description

As a Health Informatics Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing our pharmacy operations through the effective use of technology and information systems. You will work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and IT teams to ensure that our systems align with healthcare providers, ultimately improving patient safety and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy information systems ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Design and implement programs for medication safety to enhance patient care.
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize workflow and improve decision-making processes.
• Lead training sessions for pharmacy personnel on informatics and technology use.
• Support regulatory compliance efforts through data management and reporting.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing pharmacy services.
• Conduct audits on system utilization and data integrity.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare system setting.
