Job Description

The Mixing and Blending Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender will be responsible for creating rubber compounds essential for the manufacturing of various products such as tires, belts, and hoses. This role involves operating and maintaining mixing equipment while ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate blending machines, adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Perform regular inspections of mixing equipment and report any issues.
• Train new employees on mixing processes and equipment use.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure final products meet specifications.
• Adjust mixing parameters based on batch requirements.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to troubleshoot production issues.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in rubber mixing or related field is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of industry experience in blending or mixing operations

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Rubber Formulations
• Operational Safety Procedures

• Problem-Solving
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification

Advantageous

• Prior Experience in Chemical Handling: Experience with safe handling of chemicals involved in rubber manufacturing.
