Industrial Rehabilitation Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will assess and treat clients with workplace injuries, ensuring they receive the support needed for their recovery and safe return to work. Your expertise will help optimize rehabilitation processes and enhance client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document clients' readiness to return to work.
• Advise on modifications and workplace accommodations for returning clients.
• Research and implement evidence-based practices in occupational rehabilitation.
• Assist clients in obtaining necessary medical documentation for leave or return to work.
• Support clients in setting achievable rehabilitation goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical rehabilitation or health management.

Technical Skills

• Functional capacity evaluation
• Ergonomics assessment

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a corporate healthcare setting: Previous work within corporate wellness and rehabilitation programs.
• Advanced certifications in occupational health: Possession of certifications like CCE or CHT.
