Job Description

As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a key role in safeguarding the health and safety of our workforce. You will conduct inspections, identify potential hazards, and develop safety protocols that comply with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate identified hazards.
• Ensure that safety equipment is properly maintained and used by employees.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for health and safety.
• Build and maintain relationships with local health and safety organizations.
• Help develop a safety committee to promote workplace safety initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Occupational Safety preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in occupational health and safety

Certifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
