Job Description

We seek a Flaker Operator to oversee the operation and management of our flaking equipment. This position is crucial in ensuring the smooth processing of raw materials into high-quality flakes. Ideal candidates will bring their expertise in machinery operation and a keen eye for detail to maintain consistent production standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of flaker machines, ensuring high-quality output.
• Adjust machine settings based on raw material characteristics.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment regularly.
• Inspect product quality throughout the production process.
• Follow safety guidelines rigorously to prevent workplace accidents.
• Work intimately with engineering and quality assurance teams.
• Record production metrics and analyze data for improvements.
• Participate in safety training and workshops.
• Provide support during audits and inspections.
• Maintain machinery logs and ensure accurate documentation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the food processing industry is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of operating food processing machinery

Technical Skills

• Lean Manufacturing Practices
• Preventive Maintenance

Certifications

• Food Safety Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
