Job Description

As a Furnace Process Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of furnaces, ensuring they run efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage team members and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize processes. You'll be responsible for training operators, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of operators to ensure optimal furnace performance.
  • Monitor furnace operations and conduct regular checks on safety equipment.
  • Develop training programs for operators to enhance efficiency.
  • Liaise with engineering staff to implement technical improvements.
  • Create reports on furnace efficiency and maintenance schedules.
  • Implement environmental and safety regulations in daily operations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
  • Support quality control processes to meet manufacturing standards.
  • Work closely with management to achieve production targets.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar discipline
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management and furnace processes
