The Sunday School Missionary plays a vital role in inspiring and mentoring children in their faith journey. This position requires a dynamic individual who is committed to teaching biblical lessons, developing engaging curricula, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all participants. You will work closely with fellow church staff and volunteers to cultivate a nurturing environment that encourages children to explore their spirituality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a curriculum that is age-appropriate and engaging.
• Conduct class sessions and lead group activities.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Promote spiritual growth through interactive lessons.
• Coordinate and manage events and special programs for families.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to refine teaching practices.

• Ensure safety and security during all Sunday school activities.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Child Development, Education, Theology, or a related field

Experience

• 3 years of experience in a teaching or pastoral role with children.
