Burglar Alarm Inspector

Job Description

The Burglar Alarm Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, installing, maintaining, and repairing burglar alarm systems for residential and commercial properties. This role requires a highly skilled individual with knowledge of relevant codes and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of burglar alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with alarm systems accurately.
• Ensure systems meet compliance standards set forth by local authorities.
• Offer recommendations for system upgrades based on inspection outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding updates, repairs, and training sessions.
• Document accurate records of inspections and modifications made.
• Work closely with the installation team to ensure seamless system integrations.
• Keep abreast of new regulations, techniques, and technology in the industry.
• Coordinate emergency response actions for malfunctioning systems.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a relevant certificate program or associate's degree
• Certification from a recognized security training organization

Experience

• 3+ years of field experience in security systems
