Job Description

As a Laundry Counter Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service at the laundry counter. Your role includes processing laundry orders, operating washing machines, and maintaining a clean working environment. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy helping others, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to provide a seamless laundry experience.
• Accept and accurately process customer laundry orders.
• Maintain efficient operation of laundry machines, including troubleshooting minor issues.
• Assist in sorting and folding laundry items for a polished presentation.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain cash register accuracy.
• Keep the laundry area clean and organized for optimal efficiency.
• Address customer feedback and adjust service as needed.
• Track inventory usage and report supply needs to management.
• Follow all safety protocols while performing job duties.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a laundry or customer service role preferred

Technical Skills

• Cash Handling
• Laundry Software Familiarity

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Cash Handling: Prior experience managing cash transactions in a retail environment.
