Job Description

We are seeking an innovative City Planner who is passionate about urban development. In this role, you will conduct research, prepare zoning regulations, and ensure compliance with planning policies, all while advocating for community involvement in future projects.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with community stakeholders to understand their needs and values in urban development.
  • Assess the environmental impact of proposed urban development projects.
  • Work alongside government officials to ensure project alignment with regulatory frameworks.
  • Facilitate workshops and public forums to promote community engagement in planning processes.
  • Support grant applications and funding proposals for urban projects.
  • Develop strategic plans that contribute to sustainable urban growth.
  • Utilize GIS technology to visualize planning data and develop urban design concepts.
  • Advocate for policies that enhance urban sustainability and resilience.
  • Collaborate with transportation planners to integrate mobility solutions.
  • Evaluate the long-term effects of urban planning initiatives on community health.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Geography, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in urban planning or related field
