We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aircraft Cargo Handling Supervisor to oversee sorting operations at our Los Angeles facility. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills and extensive experience in logistics, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of cargo.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sorting operations and manage team performance.
• Evaluate and improve sorting procedures to maximize efficiency.
• Provide training and mentorship to sorting team members.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse personnel.
• Address and resolve sorting discrepancies and customer complaints.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Prepare reports on operational performance and suggest improvements.
• Lead by example to instill a strong work ethic within the team.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams for optimal workflow.
• Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics supervision with a strong focus on sorting operations
