Job Description

As a Grader and Sorter, you will play a key role in the quality control of our apples. Your tasks will include inspecting for defects and ensuring proper packaging for shipment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment focused on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all incoming and outgoing produce for quality
• Sort and grade apples by size and quality
• Ensure proper packaging of products for shipment
• Help maintain equipment used for sorting
• Follow all operational guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Report quality control issues promptly
• Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and materials

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in food handling or agricultural roles is a plus

Technical Skills

• Quality control
• Basic math skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous agricultural experience: Experience in a similar agricultural setting is a plus.
• Ability to operate basic machinery: Skills in operating agricultural machinery would be advantageous.
