Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Import Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage all aspects of the import process, ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Your expertise will be essential in facilitating the efficient movement of goods across international borders, and you will serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders involved in import activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and conducting enrichment and training exercises.
• Monitor health and wellness indicators, reporting changes as needed.
• Engage with the public to raise awareness about conservation initiatives.
• Guide visitors through habitats, providing insight into animal behaviors.
• Collaborate on habitat design and modifications to enhance animal welfare.
• Participate in emergency response protocols as needed.
• Help maintain inventory and order supplies related to animal care.
• Support breeding programs and initiatives to increase species awareness.
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on best practices in animal husbandry.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Behavior or related field
• Additional certifications in wildlife management preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a zoo, wildlife sanctuary, or conservation program highly desired
