Job Description

As a Farm Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment used in the agriculture industry. Your expertise will ensure that our tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test machinery for proper functioning.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Complete all repair and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure all equipment meets operational standards.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Identify efficiencies in maintenance operations and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
• Assist with emergency repairs as needed during peak seasons.
• Provide excellent customer service in all interactions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification from a recognized trade school or apprenticeship program is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with farm equipment is preferred.
