Job Description

As an Administrative Law Judge, Adjudicator, or Hearing Officer, you will be responsible for reviewing and making determinations on insurance claims in a fair and impartial manner. Collaborating with a dynamic team, you will ensure that all decisions comply with legal standards while providing exceptional service to claimants.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct impartial hearings regarding insurance claims disputes.
  • Review documentation, including medical records and legal reports.
  • Analyze factual and legal issues in claims to determine outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance claims processes.
  • Provide written summaries and reports of findings to stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and legal changes.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the claims department.

Requirements

Education
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Additional certifications in mediation or arbitration preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience specifically in insurance law or adjudication
