Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Screw Cutter to join our dynamic team. The Screw Cutter will be responsible for cutting screws to required specifications using various cutting tools and machines. Attention to detail and precision are crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust cutting tools and machines for production runs.
• Perform quality checks on outgoing products to ensure compliance.
• Maintain a safe and organized workstation.
• Document production output and report any discrepancies.
• Implement improvements to enhance efficiency in the cutting process.
• Work with engineering on prototype development.
• Support inventory management efforts.
• Engage in continuous training and skills development.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production plans.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on tool performance.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in manufacturing preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in metalworking or a similar position

Technical Skills

• Machine troubleshooting
• Quality control practices

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• OSHA Forklift Certification
• Manufacturing Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
