Job Description

As a Corporate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to corporations on a range of legal issues, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities. You will work closely with senior management to advise on compliance and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise on transactions such as mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist in litigation matters as required.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements.
• Monitor regulatory developments that impact the corporation.
• Participate in cross-functional projects as the legal expert.

Requirements

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in multiple states is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in the financial services sector
