Job Description

As a Zoogler, you will develop and implement innovative software solutions to enhance animal welfare, conservation, and educational initiatives. Your passion for animals and expertise with Google technologies will drive impactful changes in various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, code, and test applications focusing on managing conservation data.
  • Collaborate extensively with environmentalists and data scientists.
  • Drive the deployment of solutions that leverage Google Cloud Platform for field projects.
  • Identify bottlenecks in existing systems and find effective solutions.
  • Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts for conservation programs.
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage the general public.
  • Document processes and create user guides for software developed.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to foster innovative ideas within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or Computer Science
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in software development or data analytics, preferably in conservation.
