Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Hand Hide Stretcher to join our production team in Chicago. In this role, you will stretch and smooth animal hides, ensuring they are prepared for further processing in the leather manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Carefully stretch and shape hides to meet production specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of hides for quality control.
• Adhere to safety guidelines while operating tools and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of hides and related materials.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production processes and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Preferably some experience in leather processing or a related field but not required.

Languages
