Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated Canner to manage and operate our canning equipment effectively. This role involves ensuring the quality of canned products and maintaining a clean work environment. Attention to detail and compliance with safety standards are crucial.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust canning machinery for production runs.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Document production metrics and report any discrepancies.
• Team up with quality assurance to ensure product adherence to standards.
• Assist in training new staff on machinery operation.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness of production area according to health standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in canning or food processing industry preferred

Technical Skills

• Advanced canning machinery operation
• Food safety regulations

Certifications

• Food Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
