We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring our systems for security breaches, investigating incidents, and implementing security measures. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding our data and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring of security systems for anomalies.
• Investigate security breaches and recommend remedial actions.
• Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and defenses.
• Facilitate security awareness training sessions for employees.
• Contribute to the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Review system logs and conduct forensics on incidents.
• Coordinate with law enforcement if necessary.
• Assist with compliance audits and reporting.
• Provide mentorship to junior cybersecurity staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
