Pot Lining Supervisor

Job Description

As a Pot Lining Supervisor, you will oversee the pot lining process in aluminum smelting operations. You will manage a team to ensure the safe, efficient, and quality lining of pots, optimizing production and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead pot lining operations, ensuring team safety and productivity.
• Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure maintenance is performed.
• Work closely with other departments to improve overall efficiencies.
• Manage inventory and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Document all safety protocols and production reports.
• Analyze and optimize pot lining processes.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and open communication.
• Adapt to changing production demands and ensure team flexibility.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Experience

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.

• Additional certifications in safety or leadership are a plus.
