Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive and Watercraft Service Attendant to join our dedicated team in Detroit. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on industrial garage equipment and ensuring their proper functioning, with a focus on both automotive and watercraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in garage equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities in compliance with company standards.
• Assist in training new staff on equipment maintenance procedures.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools necessary for repairs.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and recommendations for equipment care.
• Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Diagnostic tools proficiency
• Pneumatic systems knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Customer service orientation

Certifications

• Forklift Operation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
