Job Description

We seek a dedicated Gas Plant Operator to manage daily operations within gas distribution systems, ensuring integrity and safety in compliance with regulations. This role demands quick thinking and efficient response to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise gas flow and pressure to avoid disruptions in service.
• Create detailed reports on system performance and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate emergency response efforts in collaboration with local authorities.
• Train junior staff on safety and operational procedures.
• Review and update operational procedures to improve efficiency.
• Conduct safety drills and risk assessments regularly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Gas operations certification is a plus

Experience

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
