Join our team as a Surveying and Mapping Technician, where you will handle different instruments to collect essential data for construction, topographic, and boundary surveys. Your expertise will support our engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze land data using advanced surveying equipment.
• Prepare survey reports and documentation for client deliverables.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration into design plans.
• Stay updated with the latest surveying technology and techniques.
• Provide training and support to junior technicians and interns.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and goals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Surveying or Engineering Technology preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in land surveying or a related field

Technical Skills

• Laser Scanning
• Operating Drones

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with MicroStation: Proficient in using MicroStation or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of Environmental Regulations: Understanding of environmental regulations affecting surveying and mapping.
