Physical Therapist Aide

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Aide to join our dynamic team. You will assist physiotherapists in evaluating patients, preparing treatment areas, and monitoring patient progress during therapy sessions. Your contribution will be vital to our patients' rehabilitation journeys.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient care by assisting with rehabilitation exercises.
• Keep treatment rooms stocked and organized.
• Assist in the monitoring of patient vitals during therapy sessions.
• Ensure equipment used in therapy is cleaned and maintained.
• Help educate patients on their rehabilitation exercises.
• Engage with patients to ensure their comfort and safety.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in physiotherapy assistance preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Patient Documentation

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Spanish: Basic

Advantageous

• Bilingual in Spanish and English: Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with healthcare administrative tasks: Knowledge in scheduling and maintaining patient appointments.
