Responsibilities

• Perform stress tests and interpret results under physician supervision.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding test processes.
• Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment and software effectively.
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs.
• Develop a rapport with patients to enhance their comfort during testing.
• Assist in scheduling and preparing patients for tests.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cardiac testing and monitoring.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Imaging Techniques
• Data Management Software

Soft Skills

• Empathy

Certifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is a plus
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in a research setting: Experience with stress testing protocols in a clinical research environment.
• Advanced cardiac certifications such as Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES): Certifications in relevant advanced cardiac technologies.
