Job Description

As a Park Naturalist, you will play a vital role in educating park visitors about the environment and wildlife. Your passion for nature will inspire others to appreciate and protect our natural resources.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging educational content emphasizing conservation and the park's ecosystem.
  • Deliver presentations to school groups and community organizations.
  • Coordinate volunteer programs aimed at enhancing visitor engagement.
  • Assist with trail maintenance and restoration projects.
  • Compile data on visitor feedback and park conditions for management review.
  • Work alongside staff to implement conservation initiatives within the park.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to remain updated on best practices.
  • Foster partnerships with local organizations and schools to promote outreach.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in outdoor education or park interpretation
