Join our team as a Surveying and Mapping Technician, where your skills in land surveying and data collection will play a crucial role in project success. Ideal candidates will have experience with surveying software and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute field surveys and gather data for various engineering projects.
• Create topographic and boundary surveys for residential and commercial developments.
• Analyze survey data to create digital terrain models and contour maps.
• Perform desktop research to verify existing boundaries and prior survey information.
• Ensure data integrity through validation and verification processes.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss survey findings and project needs.
• Contribute to the preparation of survey reports for stakeholders.
• Utilize CAD software to draft survey plans and document findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in land surveying

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with LiDAR technology: Hands-on experience with LiDAR for terrain mapping and analysis.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations: Understanding of environmental compliance related to surveying.
