Join our team as a Surveying and Mapping Technician, where your skills in land surveying and data collection will play a crucial role in project success. Ideal candidates will have experience with surveying software and equipment.
Responsibilities
Execute field surveys and gather data for various engineering projects.
Create topographic and boundary surveys for residential and commercial developments.
Analyze survey data to create digital terrain models and contour maps.
Perform desktop research to verify existing boundaries and prior survey information.
Ensure data integrity through validation and verification processes.
Participate in project meetings to discuss survey findings and project needs.
Contribute to the preparation of survey reports for stakeholders.
Utilize CAD software to draft survey plans and document findings.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering
Master's degree is a plus
Experience
3+ years of experience in land surveying
