Job Description

An Oven Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring industrial ovens to ensure proper baking, drying, or curing of various products. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a food processing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operation of ovens and related equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in the baking processes.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and document findings.
  • Respond to and report mechanical issues immediately to the supervisor.
  • Train new team members in oven operation and safety protocols.
  • Implement best practices in production to optimize workflow.
  • Evaluate the performance of ovens and implement adjustments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with quality control teams to maintain product standards.
  • Assist in the development of new baking processes and techniques.
  • Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in operating industrial ovens, preferred in a food processing environment
