Job Description

As an Electrical Power-Line Installer and Repairer, you'll construct, maintain, and repair electrical power lines. The role requires hands-on expertise in both overhead and underground installations, ensuring reliability and safety in all operations.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and troubleshoot electric power lines and components.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure system reliability.
  • Operate specialized tools effectively and safely.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to coordinate repairs and installations.
  • Document and report any safety hazards or concerns promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local electrical codes.
  • Assist in training apprentices and junior installers.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairs.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Electricity or Electronics technology degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical line work.
