Job Description

We are looking for experienced Floor Sanders and Finishers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of floor sanding techniques and the ability to operate various sanding machines safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll prepare and finish different types of floor surfaces, ensuring each job is completed to our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of floor sanding equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Assess and prepare surfaces for sanding.
• Execute sanding operations with precision to achieve desired finishes.
• Conduct maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Document daily tasks and progress on job sites.
• Work alongside team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of various flooring materials and their specific care.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries and concerns.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in floor sanding or related field

Technical Skills

• Safety equipment use
• Knowledge of flooring materials

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to operate related machinery: Experience operating floor buffers and polishers in addition to sanding equipment.
• Certifications in flooring techniques: Possessing any relevant certifications can be advantageous.
