Job Description

As a Sinter Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sinter machines to produce sintered ore, an essential ingredient in steel manufacturing. You will ensure the machines function efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Document machine performance and adjustments.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training.
• Communicate effectively with facility management regarding production issues.
• Continuously seek improvements to production processes.
• Assist in the setup and shutdown of machinery as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in mechanical systems or manufacturing is a plus

Experience

• 2-4 years in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of safety protocols
• Experience with Microsoft Office

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in forklift operation: Having a forklift operation certification is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with sinter machines or similar equipment: Previous exposure to sinter or blending machines will be a plus.
