Job Description

As a Sewer System Supervisor, you will lead the operation, maintenance, and repair of our sewer systems. This role involves overseeing a team of skilled technicians while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our sewer infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee sewer system maintenance and repair operations.
  • Plan and implement maintenance schedules for optimal system functionality.
  • Ensure the adherence to all safety and compliance regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and oversee troubleshooting processes.
  • Collaborate with contractors for major repairs and improvements.
  • Document all activities associated with maintenance and inspections.
  • Provide training and guidance to new technicians and staff.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding sewer services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sewer system maintenance, with supervisory experience
